We are highly qualified teachers who have a wealth of experience teaching maths in a number of state and private secondary schools. As qualified secondary maths teachers we fully understand the demand and challenges of the new GCSE syllabus and we have access to all of the latest teaching materials from all of the GCSE examination boards.

One to One tuition offers tuition on an individual basis in a one hour session. This format of tuition is useful where pupils wish to learn on an individual basis at a pace that is convenient for them.

Shared tuition offers tuition to more than one individual at a time. Shared group tuition is less expensive and also less intense than one to one tuition. Students can be taught together with their friends or in small groups streamed according to ability.

SECONDARY MATHS KEY STAGE 3 (YEARS 7, 8 & 9)

Research has shown that many children fall behind in maths at secondary school. Larger class sizes and disruptive behaviour are found to be contributing factors. If identified early tuition can re-establish the principles of maths to ensure your child has sufficient knowledge to progress and perform well in end of year exams.

SECONDARY KEY STAGE 4 GCSE MATHS (YEARS 10 & 11)

GCSE maths is an essential academic passport for employment and further studies. Good tutoring from experienced qualified teachers provides additional support to reinforce fundamental concepts, identify particular areas of weakness and provides the necessary skills to apply knowledge to mathematical problem solving which is now the key focus of the new GCSE maths exam.

ADULT NUMERACY

Adult Numeracy courses are for adults who would like to develop their skills and confidence in maths. Adult Numeracy can be a requirement for adult learners who wish to gain a professional qualification but have not passed GCSE maths. We understand the requirements of the adult numeracy tests and offer patient and helpful support to adult learners who may not have studied maths for a number of years and need to regain their confidence in maths. We offer tuition for levels 1 and 2 and have an excellent success rate.
